Our first big adventure was taking a ferry to Kingston to get some yummy crepes.
Michael took a week off to spend with us and get some big things done like get the van registered in Washington. So sad!! I miss my California car!
Oma, Opa, Emily, and Austin finally arrived just in time for Christmas!
On Christmas Eve we went to church. It was a beautiful meeting focused on the Savior.
We tried for a family Christmas photo but this is all we could get hahah!
We decided to go all out on Christmas dinner and have Thanksgiving dinner 2.0! It was amazing!!
My mom's sister and her family live here in Washington so they joined us for Christmas dinner. It was so fun having a huge family gathering. During the dinner prayer I peeked out the window and saw snow!!! It was so fun! After dinner we went out and had a little snowball fight.
After our fun part we settled down and read the scriptures about Christ's birth, sang songs and read The Night Before Christmas. We left some cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.
A fun tradition we have taken on is checking where Santa is. NORAD is located in Colorado Springs so its fun to bring a little bit of Colorado into our Christmas. This year was so fun with Olivia. She truly and deeply believes in Santa. Since it was snowing Rudolph was showing on the NORAD tracker and she freaked out!!!! She was running around the house yelling "GREAT NEWS!! I HAVE GREAT NEWS! RUDOLPH IS REAL!! HE ISN'T FICTION!! HE IS REAL! HE IS GUIDING SANTAS SLEIGH!!" She was so excited!
Ellanore's faces crack me up lately. Her little personality is really growing lately and I love it!
We all had a good laugh that my pajama shirt said champaign dreams haha!
Olivia was so excited about her Seahawks shirt! She proudly sports it even if her dad is a Bronco's fan haha.
Walt was so excited to get another Bronco hat!
Great Grandma Hunt gave the kids a trampoline and they were so excited!!
We had so much fun playing in the snow! It made the perfect touch to our amazing Christmas Day!
Ellanore came down on Christmas morning and saw the Cozy Coupe sitting by the tree surrounded by boxes. She went straight to it, chucking boxes behind her as quick as she could to get to her new car. She then opened half of her presents sitting in her car after we convinced her that they were worth opening. She gasped when she opened all her Let it Go presents. She was so happy!
Opa, Uncle Jake, and Uncle Austin set up the trampoline when the sun came out and the kids had a blast jumping in the cold.
We took everyone to see a cute little light house and throw rocks into the sound.
We had a little Bakersfield reunion with the Skinner family! It was so fun catching up!
For my moms birthday the girls went to see the Pacific Northwest Ballet to see the Nutcracker. It was so much fun!Olivia brought her new ballerina barbie to Nutcracker. I love going on fun dates with my cute girl!
The artist of the set is the artist of Olivia the pig.
For dinner that night we went to Ivar's Salmon house. It was delicious!!
And the view was amazing!!
In the last few months these two have become the cutest little friends!
Our good friends Sarah and Stephen came to visit us! We went to breakfast then went on a fun hike. We left at dusk and ended up walking back up the mile trail in the dark. It was so fun! We came back to our house and spent some more time talking. I love good friends and I love spending time with them!
We went to sight see in Seattle the next day.
We ran into Sarah and Stephen when we were walking around Pike Market!
Austin and Walter have the sweetest relationship! Walt is also now addicted to Mario Kart! I love this cute boy and his laugh!!
