Life

You know how some times you feel so successful then the next day all your faults are layed out right in front of you? I have had that a lot lately.

My Sweet sweet sweet Olivia has been my biggest trial lately. I have been so controlling and so uptight about life that I frequently forget she is only 2. It doesn't help that in the last year I have probably slept a solid 6 hours straight... 10 times? Maybe less. I wake up between the both of them around 4 times each night. It's amazing how much The Lord has carried me through the last year.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a beautiful Thanksgiving this year. The night before we went to the Idaho Falls Temple. It was good to remember all the things we are grateful for.

We watched the new Christmas video about Christ and how he is the real gift this season. We love the temple and are so grateful we live so close.

We started our Thanksgiving morning with our traditional Albertsons run. We got donuts and the paper with all of its Black Friday adds. Walter enjoyed his first donut and destroyed it!

Our friends, the Goits joined us this year. We had the greatest dinner! And after we played a fun game called spot it. We had a fun night. It was nice to spend time with good friends when we couldn't spend it with our families.

I love the Thanksgiving season. I have so much to be grateful for. As we were preparing our meal we realized we left a bag of groceries from the night before at Walmart. I ran to the store and had a moment to my self to think about my testimony. I am grateful for my savior Jesus Christ. I know he lives and does so much for me. I'm so blessed to be a mother. I learn so much from my sweet babies. I am so beyond blessed to be married to my sweetheart! He does so much for me. We have great families who love us and support us. We have so much to be grateful for.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Olivia's testimony

I learn so much from Olivia. Her sweet little spirit is ginormous! Lately I have been thinking about my testimony and how I need to step it up. Now that I'm responsible for helping grow little teatimonies I want to make sure mine is growing more that it has been. Even though I said I'm helping Olivia to develop her own testimony she really is helping mine more.

Olivia LOVES the temple. She points it out everywhere in our house and we sing "the temple song" 10 times a day. I love when she points the temple pictures out at other peoples houses and when other people are around. Her excitement for the temple is contagious. Because of her I have a new excitement to attend the temple! Now that it's cold out we haven't visited the temple lately but I love that she still asks. I also love the reverence in her excitement. She knows it's a special place.

Olivia loves president Monson. We listen to conference talks almost every morning and she thinks every male voice is president Monson and one time a woman followed one of his talks and with tons of excitement she exclaimed "president monsie's mommy!" She loves to look at pictures of him in the ensign and after every conference talk she exclaims "amen!!"

Lately she has helped my testimony with prayer. She has been struggling with sleeping in her bed and cries and cries till she falls asleep or ends up in or bed or I sit in her room for an hour counting sheep, telling her princess stories or stories of Jesus, singing the temple song 100 times, and saying many prayers. I love when she asks to sing the temple song then asks me to pray. I know that she feels the spirit comforting her and she recieves peace when she prays.

Being a mother is the most spiritual experience I have ever had or will ever have and I am grateful to be a mother. I'm far from perfect but with her help I can be a little better!

The Briscoes came to visit!!

My best friend came to visit!! About a month ago her husband called me and told me he was going to suprise her with a trip to come visit me and Courtney! I have been bugging her to come visit for 3 years and I'm so excited they finally came!!

We had a great time spending time together. We showed them the BYU-I campus, visited a man's toy shop, and going on a date the fist day.

Allie, Courtney and I have been best friends since we were about 3! When friends come and go through life these two girls are the girls that will be my friends forever! I'm grateful for their support and friendship!

On our second day we went to Jackson then visited driggs. We had a lot of fun showing off the beauty of Idaho. It was funny how cold they were! I guess Courtney and I have lived in Idaho long enough to handle the cold.

I'm so grateful to have such great friends!! Come visit us again!!

Halloween

Happy Halloween!

Walt enjoyed his first Halloween and Olivia really got into the whole idea of trick or treating this year. The day before Halloween we went trick or treating at Michael's work and on Halloween we went to four houses on our street. Olivia loved having so many people ring our doorbell. Now when Olivia wants some of her Halloween candy she tells me "trick-or-treat!" The day after Halloween we drove up to Driggs Idaho to have a fun fall/Halloween party with some of our friends.

My failed pintrest attempt of candy corn Rice Krispy treats!

June had her first donut and loved it!! Her facial expressions were the cutest and she ate the whole thing!
