A harsh realization

I don't think I am ready to graduate. I have been so excited about getting out of college so I don't have to stress about homework or tests any more but today it hit me... Im not ready for life after college!! This week my teachers have been at a dance convention and I was not able to attend due to my intense amount of homework. (I thought it would be nice to stay home and "rest" after a LONG hard week performing and before another LONG hard week of performing... and I couldn't bear the thought of leaving Michael right after he left me for Los Vegas and right before I left him for TWO weeks touring in Texas... and it costed a pretty penny for a poor college student) Anyways... now that you know I am a baby and cant be away from Michael more than 8 hours... All my classes were canceled this week and I woke up this morning at 12:36!!!! That is ridiculous!! I have not woken up past 9 in three months because I have had school or dance rehearsal or church. After I wasted my whole day sleeping I ate FOUR toaster strudels!!!! FOUR! I think school is a healthy thing for me because I don't have time to make ONE toaster strudel! After I ate my toaster strudel I proceeded to waste my life even more by getting on Facebook! Now I am blogging... and I have a 5 page paper due tomorrow! Well now that you know I am completely pathetic I must make use of my life and shower or something... maybe write my paper! (oh and all the classes I needed to graduate wont let me in because of some stupid prerequisite... Maybe I wont have to worry about graduating if I cant take the classes that will allow me to graduate! OK, I'm done ranting! Thanks for listening!!

The light at the end of the tunnel

There is less than a month left of this semester! I can't believe it! I thought it would never end. Even though I have almost ripped out every hair in my head because I have been stressed out of my mind at times, I have really enjoyed this semester. Speaking of hair... I GOT MY HAIR CUT!

I enjoy short hair AND I have done it every day since I got my hair cut... that is 7 days of doing hair... it is a new record!

I had a dance show this weekend! It was AWESOME!!! It was based off a devotional given here at BYU-Idaho. Here is the link. I suggest you read it... but a word of caution you will cry, in a beautiful way. The show was all about love. It was an experience I will ever have again.

Dance has been such a blessing in my life and a wonderful gift I have been given. This show has helped me understand how it is possible to bear testimony of true things through dance. Love is a gift given to us from God so we can have joy in our life. I never knew there were so many ways to show love. Our opening number helped me feel community love. I could only imagine what the world would be like if we truly took advantage of community love. I was in another dance about being a mother. I don't quite understand a mothers love but as I danced on stage this week I was able to understand a little more what a mother may feel for her child that she gave life to. I look forward to receiving that gift of love for a little baby of my own some day. I was in a dance about fickle women looking for that right man... I had a hard time understanding what I should feel about this type of love then I realized I love that I don't have to worry about it! I have a wonderful husband that I am fully devoted to!! There was a dance about the love for life and how we are here to have joy, a dance about our unique differences and how we should love each other for those differences and ourselves. Our final number was and eternal love. I am so grateful for the knowledge I have of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. I know that Michael and I were sealed in the House of the Lord and we will be together not only for our time on earth but after we pass on. I know that we have a purpose on earth and that is to find joy and Love with all our hearts!!

It was really nice to have my Mom and Grandpa come for the weekend. My Mom stocked my cupboard and cleaned my house. It was nice to have them see me dance before I graduate.

My cousin Robert comes home tomorrow from his 2 year Mission in Boise, Idaho!! I am sooo excited!!! Robert and I are more like brother and sister. His family and my family spent 11 years in Bakersfield together so they treat me more like a sister than a cousin. Robert will be coming up to BYU Idaho in April so Robert AND Ian can come to family dinners on Sunday!!! I am sooo excited!
