Summer Break Day 1

This weekend was amazing! First off, I didn't have any homework to worry about! It felt marvelous! Second, HANNAH MILLER surprised me with a quick visit to Rexburg! We had a wonderful time hanging out and just being friends... I was sad Sarah couldn't come because it would have been a complete weekend. When Hannah got here we sat and talked like old times then we had some Bajio for dinner and shopped at Down East. Hannah got this awesome pair of 3 dollar J. Crew shoes that look like they are covered in foil. They were originally 80 bucks or something. We then watched Dear John and ate chocolate! (the book is way better!) Saturday we bought some Great Harvest bread and made french toast... yum! We then got ready for the day and walked around campus. Later that night we went Go-Kart-Racing!!! It was awesome!! I didn't see this happen but from word of mouth "Hannah is an awesome driver". After the first turn she couldn't get the brakes and gas straight so she hit the gas and drove straight onto the divider! (Hannah if I miss told the story you can correct me) It was fun to have my best friend in town for the weekend. I miss you Hannah!

Now that I am alone... Hannah gone and Michael at work... I woke up at 11:45 today. Man, do I feel bad... What a waste of day. I am now going to clean my house. It is funny how much I cleaned the house on Friday but now it is a total mess. By the time I'm done cleaning Michael will get home!!

Graduation!!!

I AM A COLLEGE GRADUATE!!!! Yesterday I finished my last two finals of the semester and I am now officially a college graduate with my associate! Don't worry... I am not stopping there. The school has made a few changed that would have made my school career a bit longer if I didn't get my associate first. I have three semesters left and I will graduate with my Bachelors in Dance with a minor in Home and Family Studies (sewing and cooking classes!). Last night after Michael got home I decided I wanted to make a change in my life.... So I died my hair BROWN!! Yes, I really did it. Now I'm going back and forth about liking it. I will say now that I LOVE being blonde and I like being a brunette. Oh, and I made sure the die was not permanent. It will be washed out in time to go home to California and get my hair back to the norm. I am betting you want to see pictures instead of reading my monolog about life... Here they are!

Choreography

Last night was my choreography final. I have been working on this dance for a couple months and I had two friends perform it for me for the showcase last night. They were amazing and helped me so much. I will give a brief insight to what I had in mind for the piece but you can take it how you want. I wanted to portray life in two ways. The first dancer is patience, I wanted her to focus on important things... hands=service. The second dancer had quicker movement and moves though the dance not focusing on anything... until the end. I hope you enjoy it and I would love to hear your feed back!!

Life's Lessons Learned

I have been thinking a lot about life lately. A boy I knew of passed away just recently. It broke my heart to think that he thought life was not worth living. It has really bothered me lately. I don't know why but I wish I could have just said hi to him or let him know I knew him and though he was a neat guy. It has truly strengthened my testimony of our Savior's purpose for His life on Earth. I am never content with my life. I am always wishing I was out of school so I can spend more time serving people or doing activities that can improve my life. Or, now that I am married I just want to have a baby so I can love that child and teach it all I know to help it though life. But a lesson I have learned this past week is that life is perfect just the way it is. I wouldn't change anything for finals week and sitting on the couch with Michael enjoying our time together. I love being able to help the sisters in my ward then run to school and choreograph a dance that brings me joy. Its kind of ironic that my choreography piece for my class this semester is about patience and enjoying the movement in life. Time is given to us to learn and grow and if we are just waiting for our next test we wont learn anything with the test we are working on. Life is so precious it can be taken away in a moment and if we don't do all we can now to learn now then we may not have the chance to learn later. Something else that I have learned this last semester in school is that life isn't over if you can accomplish something small. As long as you are learning and improving life will go on and be great. We are here on earth so we can have JOY but life has to have sorrow so that we will know real happiness. My happiness is the knowledge I have of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That Michael Tyler Woolley and I will be married not just for time but for ETERNITY.
