Zoo and David

Today was really fun. Michael and I slept in till 10:30 then got ready for the day and headed to the zoo. Our two favorite animals were the giant tortoises and the lions. The tortoises were about 100 years old and 500 to 600 pounds. They were huge!

The lions were impressive too. We stood there looking at them for a while. They are magnificent animals. They are beautiful too.

It was fun to be with Michael all day. I always look forward to the weekends where I can just step back from life and enjoy the moments I don't have to leave Michael.

After the zoo adventure we prepared our minds for hundreds of little girls screaming David Archuleta's name and asking him to marry them. I do admit I think he is so cute. I kept thinking he was 16 but he is really 19 so I guess those young students at BYUI could have a chance with him... He had a cute personality too. I didn't know many of his songs so guess what I had Michael do when we got home... Yup. We bought the CD. I LOVE the song To Be With You. Its on as I write this. I think Michael was in pain sitting there. I had fun listening to him scream Davids name and all his silly remarks. David ended his performance with a hymn from the LDS Hymn Book. It was really pretty. He sang Be Still My Soul. The girls behind us were balling their eyes out. But it was very touching.

It was a fun day. Happy Fathers day to all those dads out there. Michael will be a great dad one day so I am going to celebrate how great he will be tomorrow. I bought some breakfast stuff for our 6th month anniversary but didn't wake up early enough to make it for him on Friday so I will do it tomorrow. Its 1 in the morning... Good night. And May David touch your life with his music! ;)

6 Months Today!!!

Today is Michael and my 6 month anniversary!! The past 6 months have really flown by! It has been the best time of my life as well! Who wouldn't want to be married to their best friend? Michael and I have done so many fun things together and look forward to the rest of eternity to have fun. We are planning to celebrate our weekend by going out to dinner tonight with some friends from Michaels work and tomorrow we are going to the ZOO!!! and the best thing of all... drum roll please.... DAVID ARTCHULETA concert tomorrow night! I know, I know... He is 16 but for some reason I am a fan of his music, more than Justin Bieber. I don't know how excited Michael is about this concert... I know for a fact that he would rather it be The Bieber. Then Sunday is the day we will celebrate fathers day! Shout out to Michael Tyler, I love you with all my heart and I am so glad we are best friends! Thanks for taking care of me! You know me better than anyone else and know how to make me laugh. I love you so much!!

Adventures

Time to update. Michael and I have been staying pretty busy lately. When we are not doing school work or at work we try to have a little fun! A couple weeks ago we went ice caving with a few couples from our ward. It was an adventure I will have to try soon. We got to the cave and in the entrance was a dead cow! Now, if that doesn't give out a warning to leave I don't know what will! We passed the cow (that looked like he had fallen to his death, had been eaten, and smelt so bad I wanted to barf... which few things make me have that feeling... so it must be bad!) and walked into the ice cave. It was a pretty big entrance but once we walked further back it got real tight... that is when this weird feeling kicked in and I couldn't make myself go any further. Michael was so kind and said we didn't have to go in and he would take me back. We said our good byes and went on a drive to find another set of caves that didn't have tunnels. We couldn't find them so we headed back to Rexburg but stopped by the sand dunes for a quick adventure!

Isn't he HOT!!.... sorry! He is taken!!!

For dinner a couple nights ago we wanted to have puffy pancakes. So we decided to go all out and have breakfast for dinner! We made sausage, hash browns, eggs, and PUFFY PANCAKES!! Puffy pancakes are a delicious treat but I thought they could use some color! I have some NEON food dye and thought it would be cool to make the pancakes a nice bright raspberry color! Well... it ended up purple... and burnt. We sat down for dinner and decided it looked like we were eating a purple people eater!

As you can see the purple flesh (pancakes), the yellow intestines (eggs), the tan brain (hash browns), and the burnt fingers (sausages, purple people eaters aren't as advanced as humans and only have 4 fingers!)

As you can also see, Michael totally enjoyed the meal! He even put syrup and peanut butter on it!

Its been a fun few weeks! We have also been to Kirby Heyborne's comedy act, a few wedding receptions, horseback riding... I forgot the camera's memory card.. guess we will have to go again, and have rented a few movies. Memorial weekend was a Harry Potter marathon! I am now dreaming about wizards and want to see all the movies again and again till the last two come out. (I hope you enjoy that Hannah!) If you haven't seen "The Tooth Fairy" you should!

This coming week and weekend will be full of adventures that I will up date you on! Kalai concert tonight and Colorado next week!!!
