Christmas is over and I am sad. I miss my family so much!! We had a blast being home in Bakersfield.
We went to all my favorite places to eat: China Bistro, BJ's, In-N-Out, Chipotle, Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt, Dewars, Fosters Donuts, Elephant Bar and ate tons of great food at home.
Got my hair done
Played games with my family: Just Dance 3, Wii Pictionary, and Wits and Wagers
Had family pictures taken
Went to Emily's Nativity play... AWESOME
Saw the lights at CALM (the Bakersfield Zoo) a Bakersfield tradition
Visited family on Christmas Eve

Brought home a puppy
Went to the Crystal Palace the home of the famous Buck Owens and celebrated my Mom's 29th Birthday (another Bakersfield tradition)
Grandpa came up for taco night (a Hunt/Hansen/Woolley tradition)
I got showered and dressed every day last week (when Michael came home from work yesterday he said "My old Lauren is back")
Teased my sisters and brothers every second: My mom told us the real story of how our (mostly Rachael's) kitten Peaches died almost 13 years ago... Rachael was the one who shut the garage door that squished the cat... Emily is another animal killer. She got excited to hold a friends hamster when she was 3 years old and she squeezed it a little to tight. Also emily had a "hickey" on her forehead all week because a friend at school dared her to suction cup a dart to her forehead and leave it there. As you can see we had some great laughs and Michael and I teased them all week!
I really could go on and on about all the fun we had. It was so hard to say good-bye. Our trip home was an adventure though. We got to the terminal and found out that our flight was delayed 4 hours and when the flight came in the plane was broken so we waited for another plane and finally got home at 4:30!
Christmas at the Woolley home before we left to California... Actually it was our anniversary too so we celebrated big this year!

So, I went to pick up Emily from a friends house and some how this dog ended up coming home with her. It was funny to tease my mom and dad but they made us take it back the second they got home. It was probably for the best since the dog peed about 4 seconds after it got into the house! SHH... they still don't know.
My dad secretly LOVED the dog. We all walked out of the room and came back to find him playing with the dog.
