This was our year to go to Colorado for Christmas. We had such a great time being with almost all of Michael's family. We were all there but Daniel who is serving the Lord in Mexico.
Olivia loved meeting her Aunite Leah but wasn't so sure about her Uncle JD. It may have been that she was on people overload when she met JD because when he held her she just cried. After that they had a mutual agreement that they would just enjoy each others company from an arms length away. (It probably doesn't help that Olivia is super attached to me at the moment)
Olivia went on her first plane ride! We thought take off may have scared her a bit because she pooped right as we got off the ground and on our way to Colorado it made the plane smell for the rest of the trip and on the way home from Colorado she had a massive blowout!!!! Other than that she did great and slept most of the way.
We spent most of our time in Colorado relaxing and enjoying family.
We hope you had a wonderful Christmas with loved ones!
This is Olivia's cousin Spencer. They were so cute together. They are a year apart and will be great friends.
Christmas morning
We got matching aprons so now Olivia can help me cook
We were really excited for Olivia to meet Pax and Daisy. We didn't know how she would respond to them but she really liked them which is good because we would love to get a dog someday. When Pax wasn't looking Olivia would grab his paws and when Daisy (a Shitzu) wasn't looking she would kick her and grab her tail.
Michael and his brother JD played games late into the night and Michael was in Heaven
I love Olivia's face in this picture.... Enough with opening presents!!!
I sure do love this happy girl!! She did great on vacation even though she had a rough time sleeping.
I was so happy to get my first white Christmas! I spent 2 weeks talking about how bad I wanted a white Christmas and I got it!!
The greatest part of Christmas was being able to Skype Elder Daniel Woolley!
Daniel is one special kid! I am so impressed with him. You can see how much he loves the Lord in his eyes and by the way he talks. He told us his testimony in Spanish and the spirit was so strong even though I had no idea what he was saying I still knew he was speaking truth. I am so blessed to be apart of such an amazing family who is always teaching me to be more like Christ.
This picture speaks for itself and it just makes me smile!!
It was hard to leave all the fun behind and come back to reality but we are grateful we were able to spend time with family for this special holiday. We look forward to the New Year and watching Olivia grow.
Love,
The Woolleys
