I'm pregnant and I know it!

I know, 3 blog posts in one day?! I just had to share this!

It's going around on YouTube right now and I thought it was the funniest think I had ever seen when I saw it.

I am now starting to waddle

I bawl every time I put on clothes and they don't fit!

I pee when I sneeze! HAHA

I get cramps in my legs when I sleep

I love it! I am pregnant and I know it!

By the way, this is my 100th blog post!

Spring? Is that you?

Michael and I went on a mini adventure. Michael has been really antsy to get out to the river to fly fish. So, on Tuesday Michael came home an hour early from work and we packed the car up with his fly fishing gear then set out to find a new place for Michael to refresh his fishing skills.

I sat in the warm car and took pictures of myself... don't laugh. I also spent a lot of time reading and watching Michael perfect his cast.

We haven't quite made it to spring yet but we are making progress. On Saturday it was in the 70's!! Then we went back to the 40's...

Baby Shower number 2

Last Saturday I had a baby shower here in Idaho Falls. It was so fun to get my girlfriends together to eat some good food, play some fun games, and of course chat! My good friend Cami put the baby shower together and did a fantastic job. Cami finished her student teaching the day before and still managed to pull everything together. She is superwoman! I wish I was more like Cami, she has an amazing talent of being crafty as you will see in the next few pictures.

Cami made all the food. We had a salad, chicken sandwiches, fruit with an amazing dip, mini cheesecakes, and artichoke dip with bread. And, isn't that banner so cute!?

During the year she has pictures and quotes in those frames that have to do with the season but she switched everything out to have cute quotes about babies. It was awesome and she made the wreath.

She handed out yummy smelling Bath and Body Works hand sanitizers. Such a cute idea!

One of the games we played was to guess how big I was around. After they guessed how much string it would take to wrap around me I went around and they cut off the extra. Kelsey my very good friend from dance was the closest. She only guessed about an inch and a half too big. I was super glad to have her come to the shower! I really miss dancing with her!

Shay is a good friend of mine from dance. She is the most loving and caring person I have ever met. It meant a lot to have both Kelsey and Shay at the shower.

Here is wonder woman! Thanks so much Cami for all your hard work! I really lucked out to have you as a friend!! Good luck with graduation next week!!

Val is a very dear friend of mine. She was one of my first roommates up at BYU-Idaho and now she is getting married in 2 short months!! She took time out of her day getting ready for her engagement pictures to come to my shower! Love her!

Oh Court! I am so happy she met her husband and decided to transfer from BYU to BYU-Idaho! I love seeing her more than I did when she went to BYU. Courtney and I go way back! We use to play Aladdin when we were little ones. Now we are all grown up, married, and starting families... no she isn't pregnant... but some day soon we can have little ones who can play Aladdin!

Sarah! She moved in next door to me a few months ago and we hit it off! She came up with all the fun games to play. She is an awesome friend and I am so happy we are getting to know each other better!

What is a baby shower if you don't have some cake! Thanks to Maren and Krysta for bringing the diapers... they will be a huge help!!!

Most of the lovely ladies at the shower! Thank you all for coming! One thing I have learned since we found out we were having a baby is that we are so blessed with great friends!!! I have felt so much love and excitement the last 8 months. I am so grateful for all the support!

After the shower Michael and I deep cleaned the car and put the car seat in! This is really happening!!! We're having a baby!!!!!

Our last big adventure out of Idaho... for now

Yesterday, March 21, we woke up at 5 and headed down to Utah. On our way down we got this picture from Michael's sister and the text said Daniel was on his way to us.

We finally picked up Michael's brother at the airport. It was the day everyone had been waiting for since November, when he got his mission call but, it felt like such a long time away.

We then took him out to lunch at Tucanos for his last meal before entering the Missionary Training Center-MTC. He is such a handsome man and so funny. The waiter asked how he would like his meat cooked and he responded "by fire" (that is how all the meat was cooked).

We ventured out and tried chicken heart!!! Ew! Never again!

It was fun spending some time with Daniel. He also got his meal for free because it was Wednesday and all new missionaries entering the MTC get a free meal.

We then took him to the park and took pictures.

Our time was coming to an end. He made one last phone call to his mother. Then we dropped him off at the MTC.

I am so grateful to have married into a wonderful family. Daniel is such an amazing example to me. I learn so much from watching the way he treats the people around him. He is always willing to lend a helping hand to those who are in need. He is very observant and kind. He is confident in what he believes and is willing to stop what is going on in his life for 2 years to go serve the Lord in Hemosillo, Mexico. I know that the people waiting to hear the gospel in the areas he will be serving will be so happy to know Daniel.

After we sent Daniel on his way we made a quick stop to Cabela's and visited all the cool animals and bough Michael some camping pants.

We also searched for some good sales on fly fishing flies.

After our trip to Cabela's we visited with my Aunt Liz and cousin Megan and Madison. We then made a quick trip to IKEA and Zupas then headed back home. We left before the sun came up and came home after the sun went down. It was a long day but I am so grateful I got to see Daniel one last time for the next 2 years. Also, this is our last trip before it is the three of us going on trips.

California for 2 and 1/2 weeks

Michael went to China for 2 weeks and there was NO WAY I was going to stay in Idaho without him so I went to California for 2 and 1/2 weeks to hang out with my family. It was a great get away! It eased my anxiety about leaving Michael for 2 and 1/2 weeks. Get ready for picture overload!

I am an official College graduate!!! Here is my diploma to prove it!! It was sent to my house in California and had patiently been waiting for me to pick it up!

When I got home our house was torn up! My mom got new carpet and hardwood floors. This picture was taken around 11:00pm the night before the baby shower! We were all hard at work getting everything back to order and finishing up the floor.

It turned out great!

I already did a blog post about the baby shower but here is all the goods I ended up with! Again, I have to say that I am so very very blessed to have wonderful friends in my life!

Baby Woolley will be looking so cute in all her clothes! Thank you everyone!

We had a home made Chinese food night in honor of Michael arriving in China safely!

I walked into the kitchen and found my mom making snow angles on her new floor. She is beyond excited about the new change in the house!

We went to a friends house and they gave us fresh eggs and when we walked outside the chicken was on the driveway wandering around! We were laughing so hard when we saw it.

Have you heard of Sweet Surrenders? Well they were on the Food Network a while back for having the best cake. I have known about this place but never went there until now! We bought 5 cupcakes to make sure this place was legit!

We devoured the cupcakes in minutes!

The BIG project of the 2 week vacation was making the baby bedding! My mom's friend (and my friend) Jana helped us SO much! She is AMAZING! We went to the store and picked out cute fabric... I never thought I would pick out purple and green for the baby's room but I have completely fallen in love with the colors and prints.

We were going to make the bumpers but Jana informed us that it was a big task to take on so we had the store make them for us. They turned out great!

Jana and my mom worked hard at making the skirt for the crib. Jana again was amazing at making all the fabric that has shrunk a lot turn into this masterpiece! Thank you SO much Jana! I can't wait to get the bed all put together!

Our good friends the Tillets weren't able to attend the baby shower so we had our own baby shower/birthday party at BJ'S. Rach ate both of those pazookies!!

There is the birthday girl Mia... I cant believe she is 10! I remember when she was only a few months old!

Yes, Rachael dominated the other girls! She came in at :29.50 and the next closest time was :32.10! Thats my girl!

Rachael went to the Mormon Formal AKA Mormal. Doesn't she look stunning!!?

This is her date Jeff. He was super shy and wouldn't speak a word to my mom, dad, or me! I think Rachael had a great time with him. They danced the whole night!

I love my sister!!! I miss not having her around all the time now that I am home. Good thing she will be joining me in Idaho in September!

I love my donuts! Fosters donuts is always on my list to do when I come home! Most of my to do list revolves around food...

My favorite food is Chinese food... after talking to Michael about real Chinese food I should clarify for this post that I love American Chinese food because this is nothing like real Chinese food!

Not the greatest picture but this is proof I got to skype Michael every day! Such a blessing!! At 4:00 pm California time it was 8:00 am Shanghai China time. (This picture was right when he got to China and wasn't tired so it was the only time we skyped in the morning for me and at night for him.)

I got so hot I had to purchase a pair of shorts and I didn't take them off all week... I only wish I thought to buy them when I first got to Bakersfield so I could have been a lot cooler...

The best Ice Cream on the Planet!!!! This place is a must go to every time I am in Bakersfield! I love their black and white ice cream: Chocolate ice cream, fudge, chocolate ice cream, marshmallows, and almonds! I will be seeing you again!

Rach, my mom, and I played some Just Dance 3 late into the night

I played mom for an hour or so one day. Jaquie tripped and bumped her forehead on a table and had the largest goose egg I had ever seen so I held her and rocked her to sleep and held ice on the poor bump. I felt so bad because this happened not 10 minutes after her mom Jana left to take Jaden to the dentist!

We spent a good 30 minutes in Vons discussing which toilet paper we should purchase! Funnest conversation EVER!

At the Mormon Formal dance my mom, dad, and I helped with the food and cleaning up so at the end of the dance we were given some fish that were used as decoration on the cocktail tables. Well, as the story goes from my mom... Austin fed the fish too much food and killed them... but after Austin fed the fish my mom cleaned the water and the big one died shortly after and this one was the next to pass on and be flushed. While the fish were dying I was upstairs talking to Emily about how excited she was to have fish again and her hopes that they would live a long and healthy life. I soon heard my mom yell "Lauren can you come down here quick". So, I go down stairs and my mom asks if the fish was "sleeping". I assured her that they were not sleeping and we should probably tell Emily because she was upstairs all excited about the fish. There was hope though... the little one still lived...

Then the little one died within the next 5 minutes. The funny part of the story is how excited Emily was to have the fish! She worked so hard to practice the piano every day for 2 weeks back in September so she could get a fish. Well, she got the fish but it died the next day. These fish lasted less than 24 hours in our home... You may say that we aren't the best at keeping fish alive lately. Emily was crushed when we had to tell her the fish all died at the same time!!

It is so nice to be home with Michael now! I had a blast at home but it is always nice to sleep in your own bed with your own pillows (thank you Austin for sharing your bunk bed with me!) Now that February is over and we are half way through March we have only one month left before Baby Woolley arrives!!!!!
