We love having Ellanore in our family! It blows my mind that she was in my tummy a little over a week ago! She is such a good baby and is so very loved!
It has been an easy transition so far and I love having a newborn to snuggle since Olivia and Walt won't let me snuggle them for very long. Nursing has been easy and the soreness is out of the way so now I just have to keep her awake for feedings. It has only been 2 days on my own but nothing has changed. Having 3 isn't life ending like some wanted me to think. I figured it would be a fun adventure and that is exactly what it has been. I have gotten lots of comments like wow you've been busy or you are busy. Being a mother is my job and if it wasn't busy then it wouldn't be as fun! I'm excited for our new adventures. It will take me a while to figure out how to get out of the house with 3 under 4 years but once I get it figured out nothing will stop us! My heart is so full!
The kids were so excited she came home and is going to be staying with us forever!
Walt is doing so great with the transition. He loves her!
There is always room on mommy's lap! I hope they always know that they have my love and my time and my lap to sit on!
Ellanore had her first doctors appointment at 2 days old. We left the hospital so fast and I had group b step so they wanted to see her the day after we went home. She weighed 6lb 12oz.
We went back when she was 6 days old and she weighed 7lb even! They were impressed! I'm a cow so I wasn't surprised but I was happy she was doing so well. They were a little worried about jaundice but she was tested and was just fine. I figured since my mom and Michael were going to be here to help me I would take Walt and Olivia in for their 18 month and 3 year check up. Both are doing great!! Walt went from 8th percentile in height to 77th! We are really excited about that! Walt had shots that gave him a fever and that stressed me out a lot! Fevers mean he could have another seizure and that scares me! Puls we had a bad case of aunts and my mom was leaving the next day and Michael went back to work, not to mention I had pushed myself a little too hard at being productive and was feeling it. Prayers worked and I have been fine and able to do all I can and most importantly love on my babies! Anyways, this picture is when she was only 48 hours old!!
This was one of our big events. We went shopping! I'm crazy! I know! Probably the last time we go shopping together!
We were thinking she may be a thumb sucker but I think this was just luck! Either way she is so darn cute!
Every picture makes her look a lot bigger than she really is. This one does better showing her size! She is so tiny!
On Sunday my friend Mallory visited us! It was so good to see her! She was visiting family that lived 10 minutes away from me!
My brother brought my sister down and his girlfriend. We loved having them come visit but Walt loved it the most! Walter LOVES Uncle Dallin! He wouldn't let Dallin put him down!
Life is so hard when you sleep all day! She is rarely awake. We were told it had to do with jaundice a little and just being tired. Either way she sleeps all day then I wake her up to eat then she falls asleep nursing.
I have been getting a little caught up in my emotions when I dress Ellanore. Olivia wore most of these clothes and it blows my mind that she isn't a baby anymore!
Olivia loves to hold Ellanore and she is such a huge help! She grabs everything I need when I'm nursing or changing diapers.
Before my mom left we went to the beach to introduce Ellanore to the ocean. It was beautiful! I love living in California!
