Conference weekend

You know when life gets really hard and you don't know ifnyoubshould push on or just sit and cry like a baby? I had one of those months! Right after Ellanore was born we got ants REALLY bad. They were in every room of my house. The kids were going crazy with staying home all day long. Michael's job got crazy and he was working late and not coming home for lunch. I finally had enough of the ant problem and agreed to have my house sprayed. They gave me instructions to empty all cupboards and closets and to move everything away from the walls. My house was a disaster to begin with so this made everything even more crazy. I didn't want my new baby around the spray and my parents were going to mammoth for General Conference so I tagged along.

I was beyond stressed with all that was going on and was taught a little lesson in humility. I had been praying that I could do it all but Heavenly Father wanted me to learn that I need to ask for help. The day before my brake down a sister in my ward asked if I needed any help. I swallowed my pride and asked her to come help me get my house ready for the spray. She was such a blessing and I made a great friend because of that experience.

My mom drove down to my apartment and we drove my car up to Mammoth while Michael stayed home to work all weekend.

We had fun in mammoth until Walt got really sick. I am a nervous wreck when Walt gets sick. Any time he has a fever he has a chance to have a seizure and it scares me. He spent the whole night crying because his ear hurt. It was stressful!!

The beautiful part of this weekend was the talks given specifically for me. They were exactly what I had been praying for! Heavenly Father had a beautiful plan set up for us and so many blessing to make our life happy!

Disneyland 4 times in 1 week!

We did Disneyland FOUR times in ONE week with a newborn!  Ellanore went to Disneyland 4 times before she was 2 months old! I'm a crazy person! I had such bad anxiety bringing Ellanore but we were so careful with her! We used half a big bottle of hand sanitizer and wiped our hands with lots of wipes and she only stayed in her car seat or stayed tightly wrapped on my chest.

Olivia's best friend Hayden turned 4 and came down to Disneyland to celebrate. I had my mom come down to help me so we could join them. I learned something after the first day... I can't do Disneyland on my own anymore. Maybe when Ellanore is a little older and I don't feel like a bad mom for bringing her to a place that had a measle out break last year, then I can do it on my own again but for now with nursing every two hours I need my mommy!! Haha

Day one was fun to just be back and we had some things we needed to do. We didn't get Aurora and Jasmine's autograph before our passes were blocked out for the summer so we finished our picture frame finally! Now we just need a picture!

Day 2 was amazing!!! We stayed till 11pm and saw the paint the night parade with front row seats and had a great spot for the fireworks! We usually just watch the parade far back with the kids on our shoulders while we walk to rides and when we see the fireworks the trees are in the way of the castle so to was fun to have good seats finally. We went on a ton of rides and played all day with Hayden! Also, Hayden's mommy is my really good friend so I was loving spending time with her! We miss living across the street from them in Idaho but love that we are both in California now! If only we were neighbors in California, that would be perfect!

Day 3 was with my in laws and it was crazy!! The park was at 95% capacity and it was impossible to do anything because there were so many people. It was really disappointing. We got on a few rides and saw a parade and Celine Dion

Day 4 was great! We saw so many characters (which is my favorite thing to do)! We went on a few rides and tried a lot of new treats! We had a lot of fun with Leah! I'm so glad I was able to redeem Disneyland after our crazy attempt.

We love Disneyland and can't wait to go back but we have to wait till Michael can go with us or my mom comes down to go. I'm ok with that for now. It was quite exhausting but we made so many great memories!!

Isn't this the cutest picture EVER!
Wait!  I can't decide which is cuter!

Woolleys come to visit

The Woolleys came to California to visit! We had a blast with them! My mother-in-law and sister-in-laws Leah and Rachel flew in for Ellanore's blessing weekend. The last time we saw them was last October!!! It's crazy to think that we hadn't seen them for a whole year!! Thank goodness for FaceTime, phone calls and lots of texting!

Leah flew in on Wednesday and we went straight to the beach! Olivia is still nervousness about the ocean but after she warmed up to Leah she had a blast playing in the water with her!

I love this picture she drew of Michael! She was so excited that it looked just like daddy! Haha!
This is her self portrait! I love how she always adds curly hair to her drawings!
We didn't plan on playing in the water but they were having so much fun I didn't want to stop them!
Walt is my no fear kid! He was loving being out and about!
I was so proud of Olivia for being so brave when I know she was so nervous before. Once she decided that she wasn't scared and wanted to have fun she was sitting in the water letting the waves roll over her and letting her feet sink in and running away from the waves. She reminds me so much of myself. I love my sweet girl!
I didn't bring any extra clothes so Olivia wore a diaper home and she thought it was so funny!!
On Thursday Marcia and Rachel flew in and after we picked them up we went back to our apartment to settle in then headed to lunch with Michael then to Disneyland. It was a mad house at Disneyland! After talking to my friend a week later she told me that the park had reached 95% capacity!! It was "fall break" for Utah, Arizona, and Colorado and maybe other places I don't know about. It was crazy and so stressful. By far my worst Disneyland experience. I was really sad because I am always telling my family how much fun we have at Disneyland and this time we couldn't move because there were so many people at the park. My good friend hooked us up with some free tickets so luckly my family didn't have to pay 400 bucks to go.

When we were in line for tea cups and Celine Dion was in the cups before us! That was fun seeing her! The other famous person I have seen at Disneyland was Johnny Depp and he was disguised! That is Celine clapping her hands in the picture below!
Michael took work off the next day and us girls went shopping at downtown disney, went to dinner, then shopping at our mall.

On Saturday we went shopping at Oakley then to the beach! Olivia was at it again! She had a blast playing with auntie Rachel in the water and Walt loved holding onto grandma! Ellanore put her toes in the sand for the first time!
Sunday was the blessing day and it was beautiful! We were sad to have grandma and auntie Rachel leave.
On Monday we had Leah for one more day and I was determined to show her a great time at Disneyland and that is exactly what we did! We saw a ton of characters and road a few rides! We had a blast!

We are sad to live so far away from Michael's family but are grateful we get to have such great memories with them! The kids were in heaven having everyone with us! Walter was in love with Auntie Leah he only wanted her!

Thanks for coming! We love you!!
