Let's jump back to January!!

I'm writing this and it's already halfway through March!! This year is flying by! I'm not ok with it! Next week Ellanore will be 7 months old! Time, please slow down!!! 

Here is a recap on January

On New Year's Day we took my grandpa Hansen dinner because he was so weak and sick from his cancer treatments. I feel so blessed to be living in California and able to see my grandparents so often!

Olivia is a sunbeam at church! She loves it and really loves her friends in her class. Now I need to get to know their moms so she can play with them on other days than Sunday at church!

This girl cracks me up with her dress up invention! And Walt!!! Poor kid! He is really getting into trains, cars, and balls which is really cute! He does EVERYTHING that Olivia does which is cute and naughty!

Every night when I lay down with Walt he asks me "Donut? Pizza? Beach?" It's so funny! He chants "Pizza! Pizza! Pizza!" And "Donut! Donut! Donut!" We went to the beach every weekend in January and it was amazing and beautiful and perfect!

Olivia went to her first birthday party on her own! It was a princess costume party and Olivia was so excited to wear her Jasmine costume. I want to eat up all that cuteness!

Oma and Auntie Em came down to visit on a Sunday night and we played on Monday. We went to the spectrum and road the Farris wheel and the kids loved it! Ellanore's face is the best!!!!

Olivia loves looking for the Ferris wheel when we are driving around. She was so excited we finally got to ride it!

Funny fact about Walt: he hates jeans! He cries and refuses to let me put them on him. That is why he is ALWAYS in sweats or shorts.

You can't see much in this picture but we decided to go to Disneyland on a Friday night after Michael came home from work and as we were walking in we found out that Elton John was performing for the Disneyland 60th special on tv and they were recording that night so we listened to a free concert by Elton John and saw extra fireworks! That is his red piano!

Ah!! This face! I kiss it all day long!

This was the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen! It was so peaceful and such a perfect night!

Like mother like daughter!! My mom and sisters are always making fun of me that I  am the messiest nail painter and I let Olivia paint her nails and it looks like she is taking after my nail painting skills!

We love our saturday morning kronut/donut runs before we head to the beach!

I was asked to help choreograph for our wards skit in the stake road show and I had a meeting one morning so since we were already out I kept us out! We took a picnic to the Temple and walked around then we headed to the beach and played for a little. Once I am out of the house you can't stop me!!! 

Michael had a man weekend with his college buddies so we went to Bakersfield to hang out with Oma and Opa. Michael went snowmobiling in Island Park, Idaho. I was slightly jealous that he was so close to all my friend and I want to go back and see them but it's probably better that I don't go see my house and friends and cry for days when I get back. I really love living in California and wouldn't move back but I do really really really miss my friends and house!

We had fun with Oma and Opa and it turned out to be a huge blessing that I got to go. My grandpa got so sick from his cancer/treatments that he moved into my parents house for a little bit and I was able to help take care of him and spend time with him. He took a turn for the worse and ended up in the hospital the next week and after a big discussion about his strength to live and fight he has gotten so much better! Thank goodness!

While we were at my parents house Ellanore rolled for the first time and started on baby food. Olivia is such an awesome helper!

February

For the last 2 years all my blog posts have been done from my phone and all pictures are from my iPhone. Please excuse all typos and anything that doesn't make sense and poor photo quality.

This picture makes me laugh!! Olivia is really into making funny faces!

I have a VERY happy husband! The Broncos won and after the game he was beaming!

The day after the big win Michael texted me in the morning and said that Peyton was at Disneyland and there was going to be a parade. I told him we should go for lunch, jokingly but he was serious about my idea! I loved it! I hurried and got us ready and packed us a lunch. We picked Michael up and headed to Disneyland. We got there just in time to see the parade then headed out to take Michael back to work. It was awesome and a great memory!

I love how Michael is so willing to have fun with me! He is always looking for opportunities to make memories with the kids and I love it!!

One week the weather was perfect... Ok, every week the weather is perfect but this particular week was extra perfect! So I took the kids to the beach 3 times! I asked a friend from church to go with us one day and the ward went another day so I had help 2 out of the 3 times.

We had an awesome Valentines weekend! We ran around all day, Saturday, doing errands then went to a fun dinner place. We ate seafood with our hands and enjoyed making more memories!

Walt fell asleep grocery shopping the other day it was funny!

She is growing up so fast! She will be 4 so soon!!

She makes me laugh every day! She found this picture of my mom and dads wedding announce to and asked "why does Oma and Opa's hair look new?!" Hahahah!

One Friday night we were going to spend the evening at Disneyland so we hurried and ate dinner packed our bags and ran out the door and then quickly realized that we locked our keys in the house! Our good friends came and picked us up and took us back to their house while Michael waited for a locksmith to come get us back in. We followed through with some of our plan and drove to Costco and got some churros and listened to our new book.

When things were not looking good for my grandpa I was looking through pictures and found this one of him and Olivia. It's my favorite!!!

Our friends the Altoms came down from the Bay Area so we met them for dinner on balboa pier. We parked on the island and took the ferry and had a blast enjoying our time with each other and friends.

We were taking selfies while Olivia went potty and Walt kept giving me kisses! He melts my heart!!

We also saw this cute proposal and went back after to take pictures.

We had a family day at Disneyland and it was so fun! We road a lot of new rides that aren't in our usual lineup. 

This was my only picture of the group but it was so fun to see our friends!

Real life... All day... Every day!!!! When we aren't having fun this is usually what we look like! Haha I'm probably crying too! Ha!

My mom couldn't come with us to our family Disney day so she came down once my grandpa was doing better. We didn't open and close the park but thank goodness for season passes so we can plan another all day adventure! We were all exausted from being sick all week, Michael had been in New York for work all week and I was exausted so a quick trip to Disneyland with my mom was just what we all needed!

Walt is such a flirt with all the princesses and I'm glad I finally caught a picture it!!
