Think you have it hard? Its time to serve!

On Saturday, the day before Easter Michael was driving home from work and saw a bunch of fire trucks driving to the other side of the freeway where a ton of smoke was in the air. He told me about what he saw but we put the thought aside.

Today I woke up a little late... actually a lot late. I realized class was going to start in 5 minutes and I was still in bed. I ran out the door and prayed and prayed that Sister Bone wouldn't get mad at me or take me out of the dance. I prayed that everything would work out. I got to class and Sister Bone wasn't there. I thought that was odd but walked into the group and we said the opening prayer to class. In the prayer the girl asked a blessing for Sister Bones family.

I was informed that Sister Bones house was where the smoke was coming from. There is nothing left of her house. They all got out of the house safely but they have nothing now. It really made me stop and think about my life... I complain and think about myself a lot. Oh my life is so hard... I KNOW I am not the only one who has these thought during the day.

Do you think you are having a hard day? Well someone is always going through something harder. I need help! I want to do something good for the family. It has been amazing to see the organization of this church step in to help this family. Not only has the church helped the family but neighbors and everyone at the school. They are at a hard spot where insurance will do a lot but that will take time and they don't know what people can do to help yet. Memories have been lost and I want to help them. Do you have any ideas?

Easter/Conference Weekend

Michael and I had a fabulous Easter/Conference weekend. We started it off by a fun trip to Idaho Falls to get Michaels car wheel fixed. We spent an hour running around Sams Club eating tons of free samples. Which was our inspiration for Sunday dinner. After we went to IF we headed back to Rexburg to go to my final fine arts show I needed to attend for my humanities class. We saw Garden Of Eden. It was blasphemous! With HORRIBLE dancing... I wanted to pull my hair out when I saw the HORRIBLE technique and bad moves. Don't worry, Michael and I had a good laugh when we listened to everyone around us saying how great the show was and the dancing was fabulous. We just couldn't believe the show was at BYU-I. The show was about the first nine chapters of Genesis. Nothing matched with the scriptures and God hated us because we sinned.

Saturday Michael had to work during conference so I took notes and told him what was said. Then he went to priesthood and taught me what he learned. Saturday night Michael and I Colored Easter eggs and ate chips while watching Princess and the Frog!

Sunday we made breakfast while watching conference and enjoyed our time together! Michael and I really got into our giddy love today! My heart flutters every time I look at him!! He is so handsome and so good to me! We spent the day talking and growing our love. While Michael was in the back room I hid our Easter eggs. Michael looked so cute looking around the kitchen and living room. After we put them back in the box I cracked one and everything oozed out all over me and my face... I guess I need to learn how to boil eggs!!
