June was a crazy, busy month!! Looking back on my calendar makes my head spin! I only have 4 blank days on the calendar and the rest are crammed with big events! We made some great memories in June!
We soaked up as much Disneyland time as we could! We did family home evening with dad one Monday night so we could see the new light parade and firework show. Olivia loves going with dad!
I took the kids by myself a few times but this is the last trip with just us before our passes became blocked out for the summer. When we first started coming to Disneyland in March our trips were only 2 or 3 hours. Our last trip was 6 hours with just me and the kids! Olivia knows how to work Disneyland and makes sure we do and see everything!
I LOVE having Olivia be my little girlfriend! For the last 4 months she has been sleeping in our room, so naturally she goes to bed when we do around 11. One night we decided we needed our nails done so we painted our nails and watched a disney movie! Olivia is totally into dress-up right now and loves to put on my clothes... Embarrassing story: right after we moved in and things were all over the place I walked into my room and found her dancing around in my lingerie! I was so embarrassed! I coaxed her out of it and the rest of the day she kept asking where her pretty pink dress went! Anyways!! This particular night she really wanted to wear Michael's shirt and she looked so cute and tiny in it and much more appropriate!!!
Our last day to go to Disneyland before our passes became blocked out for summer was a week before my birthday so my mom came down with Emily and my moms friend Mia and we had a blast!
Olivia loved Mia! She road everywhere on Mia's lap and got so comfortable she took nap! Mia got us to the front of a lot of lines which was fun since we got to do a lot of new rides I wouldn't want to stand in line for on my own with Olivia and Walter.
This was our 15th visit to Disneyland in 4 months!
We always have to stop by and say hi to Tinkerbell when we are at Disneyland!
My mom left Emily with us for a week which was awesome! We celebrated national donut day!
We went to Balboa with Emily. It was cold and breeze but by the afternoon it was perfect!
I love taking Olivia and Walter to a place that is so special to me and it's nice that it is easy for me to find free parking and get them to the sand easily. Also there are no waves so Olivia and Walter aren't afraid. In May, Michael and I took the kids to see some pretty big waves and Olivia and Walt got knocked over and now they aren't too sure of the big beach which makes Balboa perfect for them.
We took a tour around the Newport Beach Temple. I love living so close to the Temple.
We only go to the big beach when Michael is around since Olivia and Walter won't let go of me when they see the water. We are slowly working on getting over this fear.
Michael found a creative way to change Walt's stinky diapers! Lucky for him, he only ends up changing 1 poopie a month, if that!! Walt always saves them just for me!
I finally cut all of Walters baby hair off. Now he looks like a little man! He grew up in the 30 minutes it took to cut his hair!
I experienced my biggest mommy scare and our first ambulance ride and first emergency room visit! I hope we never have to do any of that again!! Walt had a febril seizure induced by a spike in his fever. It was awful and so scary but it was a beautiful learning experience about priesthood blessings and the power of prayer.
I got some beautiful flowers for my birthday and I got to spend the day with these sillies!
One day I couldn't find Olivia, I looked in my closet and must have passed right over her! Her three favorite dress-up items from my closet are my wedding shoes, beach hat, and pink scarf.
Michael got these HUGE whiteboards from work and won't part from them so they take up our entire bedroom wall but they provide tons of entertainment! Olivia is getting really good at writing her name!
He is the cutest!! Some days I think he is still a baby then other days I watch him grow up right before my eyes! He keeps me on my toes and my heart beating fast. He is a daredevil! It scares me and he knows it and loves it!
I love the way she falls asleep!
We went to an angels game again. Oakley gets good discounts so we are going to try to go as much as we can. Only problem is that Olivia doesn't like going to the games.
I am hoping to put Olivia into ballet soon or maybe since I graduated with a degree in dance I should put it to use and teach my daughter ballet!
We had a great week full of family! My Grandma and Grandpa celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in June! They are amazing and such a beautiful example to me. We had a swim party at their house.
Olivia asks weekly if we are going to go to Great-Oma-Hunts house. I love that she gets to have these memories with the people I love so much!
The day after our swim party we went to the beach with cousins! Olivia LOVES her cousins Colt and Lola. She has so much fun playing with them and Colt is so sweet to her.
I was in heaven spending so much time with family! It's crazy to think that we are adults with children now! It feels like yesterday we were little and spending the summer at the beach.
The day after our beach trip we had a surprise party for my Grandma and Grandpa. It was a beautiful little party. I'm so glad we live in California and are able to be a part of events like this. I know that I would have been so sad to miss this if we were still in Idaho.

We made a big change in our home. Olivia and Walter now share a room. We got a 3 bedroom apartment so they wouldn't have to share a room and so we would have room for the baby but Olivia was so afraid to sleep in her new room in her big girl bed so she ended up in our bed every night. That quickly got old so we put her toddler mattress on the floor next to our bed and she slept there for the last 5 months. It was hard having her go to bed so late and we wanted alone time... Since she NEVER stops talking!! We put her back in her toddler bed in Walt's room. The first night was long and secretly funny. Walt had the biggest adjustment. He has been so use to quiet and no distractions when he went to bed and now Olivia is in there to keep him up. The first night he was Mr. Silly and did belly flops in his crib for thirty minutes they giggled for 2 hours then finally fell asleep. It's been 2 weeks now and they are getting the hang of thing and I am about to finish a book and blog about June! This transition has been great!
We have eaten way to many s'mores this summer! It was my favorite treat until peaches started getting good now I have peaches and ice cream as much as I can!
Olivia is growing up way too fast!
Walt is such a stud! Our neighbors in Idaho came to Disneyland for the week and we got to spend a day with them at the beach and then they came to our apartment to play. Brynlee planted this kiss on Walt and he didn't even look away from the show he was watching! Later he tried to give her a kiss!
Every morning since they left Olivia has asked to play with her friend Jayson. It makes me so sad! We really miss our Idaho friend.
Isn't this the most perfect little profile!? I could kiss his cheeks all day long! No woman will ever kiss this boy as much as his mommy has!!! Michael sent me this picture while I was at the dmv for 4 hours getting my California drivers licence!! Woohoo! I'm a Californian again!!
I can't get over how amazing her hair is! She has the most perfect curls!! It fits her personality perfectly too!
I love our spur of the moment trips to the beach with dad! I love the beauty of California!!
I love my little family even more and I am so grateful for them!!
We have gone to the community pool a few times and the kids love playing in the kiddy pool. It's perfect for them. Olivia has gotten really brave and loves to go in the big pool with her floaties. She is also super social and is always trying to make friend and get attention. It makes me so sad that she doesn't have any friends here, well the one friend she had is moving in a week. That has been the hardest part about moving to California. We really really really miss our Idaho friend.
One Saturday night we decided we needed to get out so we went to the mall to ride the Big Fun Wheel and Carousel. It was a huge hit! Olivia and Walter loved it and after we got a little treat and threw pennies into the fountains.
We got a grill finally! It was our Christmas present from my parents but we were in the middle of interviewing with Oakley so they gave us a gift card. I'm so excited to grill every night now! We have already used it several time!
Our favorite weekly activity right now is watching dad play softball and playing at the park!
I can't get enough of her! I love dressing her up!
I'm 32 weeks now and super excited to meet this little lady!
