Last Post Of The YEAR!!

I can't believe it is almost 2011! This year has flown by! Michael and I have been thinking a lot about what we want to do better in our lives.

Michael: Read 13 books, ride 3000 miles on his bike... or a stationary bike since the roads are pure ICE! No soda for the year 2011, GRADUATE!!!!! and find a job or go serious with Melelauca.

Lauren: GRADUATE!!!!!!! Get only A's and B's, cook dinner (only eat out to eat twice a month), get my family in better health, and read The Book of Mormon all the way though.

Happy New Years Love The Woolley Family!

RACHAEL

I just want to do a quick blog post about my sister Rachael. Rachael is AWESOME!!! We have so much fun together. Since I have been away at college Rach and I have become really close. Rach is an awesome young woman! She is always helping others, doing well in school, active in cheer, dance, swim, and actively participating in the young women's program at church. I am so grateful for my sister!!! RACHAEL!!!

Giving Thanks

Michael and I were able to spend the Thanksgiving brake with my family in Bakersfield. We had a blast. We got down there on Saturday and ate at my favorite place China Bistro! It was a wonderful welcome home! Sunday we spent time visiting and enjoying our time together. On Monday I cut my hair!! It was wonderful! It is now blonde and short, just the way it use to be! (I would put pictures up of my new hair cut but I lost my camera in Mammoth on our vacation from vacation and I had it up at Disneyland.) Monday night my mom decided it would be fun to go to Disneyland!

I LOVE DISNEYLAND!!

Of course life isn't always fair so naturally they year I get married and move to Idaho for good (until we graduate) my whole family gets a wonderful christmas gift of season passes to Disneyland! I have been blessed though, I have been twice this year and there are those who have never been before! It was a rainy day but it was so much fun.... who ever says that Disneyland is empty on Thanksgiving week is WAY wrong! It was the busiest I have ever seen it!

Disneyland was all decked out for Christmas!!

Isn't this the most beautiful castle ever!!?

The HUGE marble ball in from of Space Mountain... Michael wants one now!

Soarin' Over California!!

This makes me laugh! Emily DID NOT want to be on Splash Mountain!

On Wednesday we made our way up to Mammoth! I love Mammoth... I almost love Disneyland as much as I love Mammoth! This was our 10 year anniversary of going to Mammoth for Thanksgiving. We started our day out with watching the Macy's Day Parade then enjoying time together then the BEST Thanksgiving dinner!!! After dinner we played the Turkey BINGO!! I won my favorite treat Little Debbie's Christmas Tree Cakes!

treecakes_van.jpg I could totally go for one or four right now!!!

If you want to know what to get me for christmas this would be the ultimate gift! I ate around 4 to 5 boxes Thanksgiving week by myself! After Turkey BINGO we watched the movie my Mom won Jim Carrey in A Christmas Carol. Friday we played in the snow, shopped, and visited Santa!! We are now back in Rexburg and have only 3 weeks of school left!! Michaels birthday is this weekend, school gets out the 17th and the 18th we will be married for a year!!!!! THEN Christmas in Colorado!!! Life is stressful but getting good!! I hope you all (Marry, Hannah, and who ever else reads my silly posts) had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

The light at the end of the tunnel

What a month!! This past weekend was my dance recital Extravadance. It was wonderful but completely exhausting! We have been working extra hard to get everything looking great so that means extra and late rehearsals. This week is my last week before Thanksgiving break so I have have a lot to get done before we head to California and that includes the house that has not even been lived in for the last two weeks... but some how is a disaster!! We can't see our bedroom floor, the dishes are piled up, the living room has everything thrown around, and there are leaves are covering the kitchen floor... I know... how you may ask did leaves get into your house but I do not have an answer... All I know is that I have wife duties screaming my name and begging to be done!

I have been grateful for Michael, I am a pain when I am hungry and tired but he has been putting up with my moodiness. He brought me dinners on his breaks, gave me lots of hugs and kisses, and came to my recital. He is a wonderful support.

With three weeks left of school I am starting to gain hope that this semester of 19 credits will end and I will live! At times I truly thought my life was never going to move forward and I would be stuck in this 19 credit semester! I have a lot to do before this semester is over but I know it will end! The downer part of this semester ending... besides my sewing classes... is next semester which will be a 21 credit semester!! I registered the day before Michael did so he asked me to register for some of his classes because they were filling up but I couldn't... I guess there is a limit of how many hours of school you are going to! I did the calculations and I am in class 37 hours a week!! That is 2 hours short of a full time job!! I wonder how many hours I will be in class next semester with 21 credits!! Wooh!

HALLOWEEN!

This is our Pumpkin Jack!

These are Jack's insides. We boiled them then baked them....

Then burnt them!! They caught on fire and set off the smoke detector!

We are using a scented Melelauca candle to light him up and make him smell of roses!

YUM!!

Our 10 month mark!

Michael and I have been married for 10 months! What could be a better present than receiving your wedding pictures on your anniversary!! They are so awesome and I have the most beautiful book that our photographer made us but no one ever comes to my house so I cant show it off like I would like to. So here are some of the pictures in the book. We have been through a lot in the last week and I must say that I am SO grateful Michael is my husband! No one could take better care of me! He is so good to me and so much fun to be around. This last semester has made us think a lot about how much hard work goes into a marriage. We spend a total of 12 hours a day with each other and 7 hours of that is spent sleeping leaving us with 5 hours to eat, do homework, pick up the always messy house, and catch up on each others days. It has been so stressful being away from him most of the day. I see my weaknesses come out when I am not with him. Michael strengthens me in every way and I am grateful for that! On a happier note 4 weeks till we can spend a whole week relaxing and visiting family together. If you add another 4 weeks to that then the semester will be OVER!! AND... we will have been married for a year!! Hopefully I can make it till then. Next semester is looking a little scary so I will need a really enjoyable Christmas break! Thats what has been going on in the Woolley home.
The complete Woolley family as of last December... In June another member was added. Lizzy married John and soon there will be another member in their family!!
