A new project I started and finished!

When I was in California I decided to start a project my mom has been working on. We have been crouching edges of blankets. A friend of mine just had a cute little baby girl so I decided to make my first blanket for her. I finished it in about two days which I was surprised. I couldn't get the hang of it at first but then it clicked and I zoomed through the rest of the blanket!

Home Sweet Home

I went to California last week and enjoyed my time with my family. I was able to see my Grandparents on both sides of my family and a lot of friends from home. I had fun with my best friend too. Rach and I had so many good laughs. It's hard being away from her. Every time I start to think about how much I miss her I get teary eyed.

Rach and I got matching "Conductor" hats as my dad would say

I went to the beach twice and got FRIED! I thought to myself... I am a cool California girl... all though I haven't seen the sun in a year I'm sure I wont get burnt too bad. Well, I was wrong! Way wrong! I haven't had a sunburn that bad in my entire life. I couldn't straighten my knees because the back of them were so burnt! Rach and I had cherry pit spitting contests and tried to take many pictures of us jumping in the ocean. Allie came with us on our second trip to the beach.

After my fun trip Michael and I went to a friends wedding. Cary is the last of the four friend to get married. It was a beautiful wedding and the couple looked so happy!

I'm in love and I don't care who knows it!!!!

I want to brag about my husband for a few minutes. I love him so much!! Here are a few reasons why:
1. He makes up and sings me the best songs! Like just now... I was feeling a little sad so he started singing a lullaby that turned into a rock song!

2. He really knows how to make me laugh. He does the funniest thing and keeps me entertained.

3. He is my own personal chef. If I ever start to cook anything he steps right in and finishes it and it always turns out better than mine.

4. He is MY man! He does so much to provide for our family. He works so hard and I am so grateful for all his hard work.

5. He smells SOOOO good!! I just love smelling him and kissing him!!!

6. I am an emotional woman... Michael is about the only person who can make me think clear and clam down. When I start my crying fest he knows just what I need to feel better.

7. He is such a big support. I have so much going on in my life and he supports me in all my ideas. The biggest support is with school. He is such a big support with my dancing. I can see when he tells people about my major he is proud of me. I know he loves me.

8. He is such a entrepreneur and I LOVE it!!! He comes up with such fun ideas and I love seeing the excitement in his face when he knows he has come up with such an awesome idea.

9. He is so handsome. I am more in love with him that the day we got married, and he looked so handsome that day too!

10. He is a good kisser. I feel his love when he kisses me!! I love his love!!

I am so happy I am married to my best friend!! He is such an amazing man! I really can express how I really feel about him. I am so in love!!

It has been kind of a lonely summer. Michael works from 8 to 5 but he leaves at 7 and get home at 6. I have a lot of thinking time. I have decided to spice up the nights. Last night I bought a California Pizza Kitchen pizza and set a blanket up on the side of the house, cut up some cantaloupe, and placed the best grapes in a bowl. Michael got home and looked so handsome! I put some music on and opened a window so we could set the romantic mood. It was so fun sitting and talking with him!

Michael is coming to the end of his internship and he had an interview today for a supervising position. He was getting ready this morning and he looked so handsome I had to take pictures.

Good luck babe!! I know you will do great!!

We have had a couple other adventures in the last two weeks. Michael and I got out one night to play racquetball. It was fun having Michael teach me to play. Michael is pretty good at the game.

We go for bike rides a lot more now that it is warm. It is fun to get out and breath the fresh air. Also, since I am inside all day its nice to get outside and see other people... even if I don't know them. We had to pump up the tired since they weather has changed.

Another fun adventure has been provided by a free starving student card are upstairs neighbors provided us before they moved. The card had a section of free food that many restaurants offered so, Michael and I went around town eating all we could. We started with a tart strawberry frozen yogurt from Millhollow followed by Huckleberry Frozen Custard from BRC's, coconut shaved ice from The SnoShack, bread sticks from Little Caesars, regular fries from Arctic Circle, finally we ended with small fries from Dairy Queen

Being married is the best. I love spending all my time with Michael and going on adventures with him.
