This semester....

This semester is busy busy busy!! I am taking 20 credits! I know you may think I am crazy... and you're right! I do have to say that this semester is better than 19 credits last semester. I stay in the Kirkham and wear sweats all day long, I dance all day long, I learn about dancing all day long and I learn how to be a better person through dancing all day long! Life is so great!! Im March the Dance Alliance team that I am on will be performing! We have been working really hard! Two weeks after that performance I will be performing with eight other dancers in Savior of the World. This is a big deal because this is the first time in over 6,000 performances that it will be performed with dancers!! Pretty cool!! You all should come to one of my last few hurrahs before I graduate!!!!

Michael is just as busy!! He is taking 12 credits and working full time! He is wonderful! He does so much for our cute little family! He is excelling rapidly at Melelauca and I am so so so so proud of him! We will keep you updated with his progress next week!! He has a few interviews this week!

Our big purchase!!

About 2 weeks ago Michael and I purchased our first couch!! It was a long process... Michael had been looking for couches on KSL and Craigs list. Our friends the Adairs gave us their futon our first week in our apartment. We were so grateful and it has made our house a home. After a year the bottom started falling out and we didn't fit on it laying down together. Finally we caved in, it was time to start the search. We went to a lot of different stores searching for the perfect couch finally making our way to Sofa Mart to find a couch we both loved... But then we encountered next obstacle, color! The colors were different in the store and on line because of the lighting... we finally decided on a beautiful scarlet color. It was a long 2 weeks waiting for the couch! Friday morning I decided it was time that I would pray that it would come! Finally at 6:00pm Michael texted me with the great news that the couch was in! We arranged to borrow our friends the Jones' truck and made it down just in time!!! The whole weekend has been wonderful watching movies laying on the couch, taking naps, playing games with the fam, and homework!

I love the color!
The couch is the perfect size for us! It is 8 feet long and a little over 4 feet wide!

Playing an exciting game of Farkle!
It got pretty intense!
Ian was having problems counting the die!
Michael was in last place...
then had a few lucky rolls that brought him up to 75 points above me... until I rolled the ultimate roll and WON!!!!

1st NBA game!

The Sunday before school started Michael and I were looking for an opportunity to go down for a Jazz game against either the Lakers of the Nuggets. After spending some time we noticed that with our schedules we wouldn't be able to go down.

On Monday I started my day off by lounging around the house when at 12:00 Michael called and told me to "get ready we are leaving at 1... We are going to the Jazz game! Hurry and get ready!!"

I was super excited for my first NBA game!! I got ready and picked Michael and 2 of his co-workers and started our journey to Salt Lake. Once we arrived we ate dinner at PF Changs then went straight to the game!! We watched the players warm up and we were sitting in the 6th row! Those players are HUGE!!! and the court is a lot smaller than it look on TV.

Cute little Gordon Hayward... He is only 20 so I can call him little even though he is 2 feet taller than me! I use to respect Rip (before the game started) but his new trade coming up is making Michael really sad cuz Carmello is leaving the Nuggies to go to NY with Rip.
D-Will
Ryan Seacrest and his girlie friend Julianne Hough was in the front row!!!

On a final note I want to express my true feelings... I really don't like the Jazz... they were not very energetic and lacked in talent. GO LAKERS!!!!!
