Its coming fast!

So, December 18th is coming fast! Michael, my Mom, and I have gotten a lot done for the wedding. I never thought that planning a wedding would be so stressful. I am sure that I am making it more stressful than it really is. We just bought the cake and it is going to be real cute! But looks aren't everything right! This will be the best tasting cake you have ever tasted!! Just you wait! The dress is in my room... just need to get a couple of things done on it. The church it booked! That was stressful. I saved the church in October and last week I was informed that the ward party was moved to the day of the wedding so we wouldn't have been able to set up. That was scary! Everything is all worked out now. Our announcements will be printed this week then we can get those sent out! They look cute so watch out for those in the mail. We have an idea for the bridesmaids and don't have to worry so much about finding something for that. Hannah is coming to the wedding! She wasn't going to come to the wedding because she had classes still but she can come!! We are still waiting on the info from the rental place but we are sure it will work out. Other than that everything is running smootly! Michael is coming in 2 weeks for Thanksgiving! That will be so good to have him with me! We have a busy week planned while he is here. We will be taking pictures, spending time with my WHOLE family for Thanksgiving, marriage licence, and attending the Temple!! I am so excited!! 14 Days till life will be complete for a week!!

Its been a while...

This is mostly for Michael and Hannah because they keep telling me to up date the blog. So, Life has been great lately. Michael and I were able to see each other this past weekend and had a great time! It has been really hard being away from each other. I had such a great time meeting Michael's family. They were such a fun crazy bunch! I am excited to have fun with them in the future! When we got to Colorado it was amazing to finally see in instead of talking to Michael on Skype or on the phone. He is so handsome! It was so good to hold his hand and have him by my side! He is such a good man and I am so lucky! We started our weekend off with lunch with Lizzy and JD. We then made our way to Colorado Springs. It was a funny and eventful day and we spent it with Michael's mom and sister. Saturday we went to Garden of the Gods and the Air Force Academy. Colorado is so beautiful! I would love to live there with Michael one day. The trees were so beautiful, red, green, and yellow leaves. The weather was nice and cool with a light breeze but the sun was warm. After an eventful day we slowed it down with a nice dinner. It was so good to sit and talk with Michael. He knows exactly how to make me smile and make me happy. I love just laughing with Michael! Sunday was a hard day because I knew I had only a few hours with Michael left. We watched conference in the morning then headed to Michael's cousin Scot and Kris's house. I then met the rest of Michael's extended family. They were so funny and so welcoming. I am so excited to be apart of that family. Hopefully next time I'll be better company because this time I was fighting back tears the whole time! They all knew how I felt though and were so kind. When Michael and I got to the air port I couldn't keep the tears back anymore. I cried the whole time. When it was time to say good-bye I couldn't let go of him. The announcer told us 5 minutes till they shut the door so I let go and walked onto the plane. Everyone stared as I walked to the back of the plane and gave me poutie faces. Heavenly Father has really helped me this far. I haven't cried since I got on the plane. Michael is back at school and starting his business and I'm back at home working. 72 days till December 18!!!!!!

Engaged!!!!

Here it is!!! Michael and I had our 5 month anniversary yesterday and we had a fun day going to the temple and floating the river. After spending all day together I had to get ready to put the show together that I have been working on for a few weeks. After the talent show we played golf in the upper fields at the school. We poured glow sticks on the golf balls and launched them. When he dropped me off at home he told me that we were going to go four wheeling tomorrow night at Island Park.
Today we started our day off with going to the temple and then Michael went to work. It was a long day full with thoughts of "I wonder how Michael will ask me to marry him in California?" When Michael got off of work we were going to make dinner but we had to leave soon before the sun set. We grabbed some McDonald's and ate it on the way up while we joked around and sang the songs on the radio. We got to our friends cabin and got on the four wheelers and drove off. Michael took us to a spring and it was crowded so we went off-roading a little and found a bridge with a dock below that went out over the water. We were looking at the beautiful view when he said my name. I turned and saw him pull out a box and got down one one knee with the words that every girl waits her whole life to hear!! "Will you marry me?"I couldn't believe what was going on and my heart was beating so fast! I said yes and put the ring on! We stood on the bridge and talked for a while and laughed and kissed!
I couldn't believe it had just happened! I was in shock... He had told me that he wanted to ask my dad when we went to California. It took me by surprise. When we were driving up we stopped on the side of the road to talk to our friend and have him give us directions. While Michael was talking to Brandon I looked at his pockets and thought "His pockets don't have anything in them, he isn't going to ask." I had been with Michael every second of every day so I didn't think he had time to go get the ring I said I liked. I guess he had gone every time I was in the shower.
After we talked on the bridge we finished our off roading trip. We watched a beautiful sunset and then drove back to the bridge. There was a man at the bridge who heard me telling my mom that I just got engaged so we had him take a picture of us. (While we were on the bridge Michael and I thought we saw a log floating down the river and the realized that it was a beaver!! We also saw a moose standing in the lake and a huge bird.) We enjoyed our time together out in the silent woods. It was so beautiful and calming. We finally made our way back to the cabin and headed home.
Michael wanted the readers to know that when he asked me to marry him I kept saying "No way! No way! No way!"
Michael and I are really excited to be together for eternity! I love him so much!

Our Adventure to West Yellowstone

Yesterday, Michael and I went to Montana to see a play at the Playmill Theater. It was such a fun day! We started our journey to the little town of West Yellowstone; it is next to the West Yellowstone National Park entrance. It is about and hour and a half drive from Rexburg. We passed the time by singing Disney songs. Michael sings a really good version of The Circle of Life form the Lion King. Ask him to sing it for you sometime!

When we got to the town we drove around trying to find this really good BBQ place. When we got there we couldn’t decide what to get so I got the ribs and Michael got pulled pork. It was the best meat I have ever had. After eating we looked in some shops while we waited for our shows to start. We took some pictures and had a good time eating home made ice cream.

Finally he did it!! Do you think it's big enough?

It’s funny how people plan trips to go to Yellowstone and travel far to get there, when it is in Rexburg’s backyard. We have made two trips up there and plan on making a couple more before we graduate! Finally it was time to go to the Playmill. It was such a cute set up. The stage wasn’t big at all but the performers made up for that. They did such an amazing job acting out one of my favorite movies Guys and Dolls. If you haven’t seen that movie with Frank Sinatra then you must rent it. The actors took us to our seats and were so kind. During intermission the actors came out and sold food form the concession stand and kept in character. It was such a fun experience and if you get a chance to go I highly recommend it! I guess Hannah and Michael are the only people who read this so for Hannah let’s go next summer! Michael, Lets go see Footloose before I have to go home. We finished the night by listening to the slower Disney songs. Just the perfect ending to the perfect night!

Lazy Sunday

So, this is my first entry and I am so confused! First off, I couldn't remember my password then it took forever to figure out how to write this.
Today is a lazy Sunday. Michael and I attended church and learned a lot. I taught the Sunday School lesson about the organization of the Relief Society. When we got home from church I took a nap then we made dinner. It has been so fun to be here in Rexburg during the 7 week break. Michael and I have done so many things. Every Wednesday we have water Wednesday. We have gone to Rigby lake and Edgin lake. We have also gone on many bike rides, went to the Titanic museum, farmers market every Friday (I got a new band for my watch), International Dance Festivle, Idaho Falls duck race, drive in movie, campfires, bowling, Idaho Falls Chuckers game, "shopping", daily slugbug battles, saw the movie Up and made a big warm blanket, golfing (Michael won his tourney), and we have a lot more to do with 3 weeks left till I go back to California. It is a bitter sweet thing to think about. I don't want to leave Michael for 4 months but I really want to go back home and not have to worry about doing homework. This is all I can think of writing right now.... who knows if anyone is even going to read this!
