Olivia's Birthday

Where has the time gone? She was my baby just yesterday! Now she is a big 3 year old who has so much personality! This girl can talk! And talk! And talk!! And talk!!! It makes me laugh! She is so expressive when she talks, with her hands and face. The other night I was busy writing a talk for church and Michael was laying in bed watching a show. He heard Olivia talking to me and I was telling her she couldn't color on my paper this time because it was a special paper. Michael tried to get her to go lay in bed with him but she said "no! I want to talk with her!" Haha! I love it! My favorite part of listening to her talk is staring into her big blue eyes!

She had a great birthday! The night before we did our traditional last hug picture and Michael joined in on our tradition.

Her birthday morning started off at 6AM!!! This is not a usual thing! She usually sleeps till 9 but I think she knew what that day was and how special it is! Michael hurried and got ready for work then took her to get donuts. She was exausted and fell asleep on the car ride home and it was only 7:30. While they were gone I decorated our apartment with princess decorations. She was so surprised when they walked through the door. She dug right into Daddy's donut and was quite upset when he wanted a bite. She gave us a really big pouty face, looked at the ground dramatically then took an even more dramatic run to her room. I was confused for a second, I thought she had turned 13 not 3! The rest of the day we had our funny 3 year old back.

After playing with balloons all morning Olivia and Walter crashed around 10am. It gave them a great nap before Oma came and we made our way to Disneyland.

We had a magical day at Disneyland. We met up with my cousin's wife and her kids who Olivia calls her cousins. Olivia really loves playing with Colt and Lola. We tried the Ferris wheel at California Adventure and Olivia enjoyed being really high up. Then we did one of her favorite rides, Ariel! I love watching her get so excited on that ride. We made our way over to Disneyland and saw the end of the parade just in time to see tinkerbell pass. She loves tinkerbell. We then did dumbo, the marry-go-round, Casey jr.'s train, and small world. Olivia had been collecting her pennies or "pens" to throw them in the water at Disneyland. She got to throw a few of them and she was excited. We hurried and grabbed a cupcake on our way out and headed to Chuck-e-Cheeses. She had a great time playing with her new friend kate and eating her favorite food!  We sang happy birthday on her Olof cake than we turned into a Cinderella cupcake. It was a good day!

This Sunday my mom dad and brothers and sister came to hear me speak in church then my brother Dallin and his cute girlfriend Deanna joined us to celebrate my dad, Olivia, and Emily's birthday. It was a fun day! We went to church, took naps, played a game and talked. After dinner we sang happy birthday then headed to Balboa Island to walk along the beach get a balboa bar. It was fun spending time with my family! I love living close to them!

I love my little Ollie Girl! I'm so blessed to be her mommy!

Daddy Daughter relationship

I am so beyond in love with these two! I love their relationship! Michael teaches Olivia some things I'm not too excited about, like wet willies and how to tickle my feet but it sure does make me laugh!

My heart may have exploded when I went through these pictures! The way she is looking at Michael, how perfect their smiles are, how she reacts to his wet willies and kisses! I am so in love and so grateful for these two blessings! And Walter! He was asleep or he would be right there with them!

Olivia

Words will never express how much I love Olivia! She is incredible! She has an amazing imagination! She is so kind to everyone and so forgiving! She is so Christ-like and teaches me to be like Christ every day!

I wish I was better at writing down every day moments with her because she is so funny and now there are so many things to say about her and I can't remember them all.

Today I was frustrated with silly little things and I stormed off to my room and said I wanted to be alone for a few minutes. After about 5 minutes Olivia came into my and said "Waren, don't be frustrated! Just be happy!" I asked her if daddy told her to come say that to me and she said "No, I did it by myself!"

Also, today she drew her first picture of our family! I'm so proud of her! A few weeks ago I walked her through drawing a person and now she is on a roll!

Olivia and Walter have such a special relationship and I love it. They are the best of friends.

Lately

A lot has been going on in the Woolley home! In the last month we have been to a Dodgers and Angels Baseball game, Disneyland 5 times, bought a mini van, went to the beach 3 time, my family came down for their spring break, my sister came home with her boyfriend so we went to Bakersfield one weekend, my brother-in-law Daniel stayed with us for almost a week, we had doctors appointments, play dates, and so much more!

What!? We bought a mini van!? We looked and looked and narrowed it down then did it! I'm still trying to get the hang of parking it. Michael is always making fun of me because I can't seem to get that long thing straight! But other than that we love it! We can drive people around and we have so much space! I never wanted to drive a mini van but now that it has happened I have enjoyed all the cool features and I'm ok with it.

My mom sister and brother and his girlfriend came to visit us for a few days over their spring break. We had a lot of fun. We played at the pool and went to the beach. The beach was awesome! My mom watched the kids while Emily and I paddle boarded around Balboa Island and Austin and his girlfriend canoed. I took Olivia on a little ride and she really liked it! We enjoyed dinner and balboa bars to top the day off! It was such a fun day!

One of our favorite things to do is to wake up and get donuts then eat them while we walk around the lake. It is so fun. I'm guessing it's around a mile walk and the kids love looking at the geese and ducks. We even found a turtle last time. The lake has a beach club and it opened today. It's cute, perfect for the kids. We went today and I have a feeling we will be going a lot this summer!

We have had a lot of dance parties in Walters room! It's so funny watching the two of them dancing together. They really are best friends. Let's not forget to mention that we are on a Frozen kick again! We listen to the song 1000 times a day! I bought 2 CDs of princess music so we can switch it up a little but, no... She still wants Let It Go!

We are settling into our apartment more and more. We have purchased a few pieces of furniture to help hide all our junk. The kids loved helping Michael put some of the pieces together.

We love the park up the street and the pool. It's nice to be able to get out of the house and enjoy our awesome weather. Michael works about 5 minutes from our house so he comes home for lunch every day and one day we met at the park and had a fun picnic. We love all the daddy time!

We had a blast at the dodgers game with uncle Daniel. The stadium wasn't expecting so many people to show up so lines were long and we missed a lot of the game. The next day Michael recieved an email asking about our experience so Michael told them and they apologied and gave us 4 comp tickets for another game! We are excited to go again in a few weeks! They played the Rockies and beat them! It was fun watching Daniel and Michael silently cheer for the Rockies so they wouldn't get beat up by dodgers fans. We had about 10 dodger dogs, 5 nachos, 3 bags of popcorn and 3 bags of peanuts, and we each had a soda. The all you can eat section is pretty awesome!

The angles game was so fun! We had great seats and enjoyed the quieter game. We also loved being 20 minutes away! We are excited to go back a lot this summer!

Lastly, I asked my friend to send me pictures when my tulips bloomed and she did! I was so excited to get the pictures! They are beautiful! I love knowing I planted those!! I miss my house and friends a lot but we LOVE living here!
