Update on baby boy

I thought I would do a little up date while Michael watches the Broncos play the first game of the season.

I went to the doctors today and had the usual baby check up. I have been frustrated with my doctor. I haven't seen her once in the office and I chose her office because it was an all female clinic but with this pregnancy I kept getting set up with her new male PA. At my last appointment I had Nicole who helped me with my pregnancy with Olivia and I have now been asking to see her and my experience had been much more relaxing. She is so kind and understanding and takes her time to talk to me. It's been a huge relief that she is still with the practice.

Another thing that has changed with Dr. H's office is how busy it is. I waited 20-25 minutes with Olivia's pregnancy but this pregnancy I wait 45 minute or more just to get into a room then another 10-15 minutes to get seen. I wouldn't mind if I didn't have to keep Olivia happy and quiet for that long.

Today after waiting 45 minutes the ultrasound tech came up to me and asked if I could help her out. Her machine was broken and she needed to do a 3D ultrasound to fix it and I was the only pregnant woman in the waiting room. It was so fun to see our little guy! He has a cute little nose and lips and his hand was up over his face.

I have had a lot of ultrasounds with this pregnancy which is way fun! The first was at 8 weeks and there wasn't much to see and the due date was set at December 25th (Christmas day). At 12 weeks we got to have another to see the baby and the due date was moved to December 18th (our anniversary). The day before that ultrasound I was asked to help in a training and got paid $25 to see my baby squirm for an hour! So fun!!! At 20 weeks we found out we are having a baby boy and today I had a mini 3D ultrasound! It's been way cool to see him so much!

This little dude is such a mover! He NEVER stops moving. I love it. I think he moves so much to remind me he is there. I am just now starting to show and if it wasn't for my belly button sticking out I would forget I am pregnant. Although this pregnancy has been completely different than Olivia's it has been really easy just like Olivia's.

I was sick my whole first trimester which was a new experience. I was only sick 1 week when I was pregnant with Olivia. It was exhausting trying to keep myself fed and Olivia entertained while feeling like I was going to throw up all day. Luckily I never thew up!! Huge blessing because I HATE throwing up. I have had really bad ache also and the heartburn has begun! But if that is all I have to deal with then I could conquer 5 more pregnancies... Not saying I will but I am feeling pretty confident in my ability to endure some discomfort.

This baby is coming fast. Olivia's pregnancy went by really slow and this one isn't slowing down. Today I made my next appointment which is the glucose test and is done at 28 weeks so I will be going back in 3 weeks instead of 4 and after that its every 2 weeks till the baby comes!!!!! What!!!? How can we be at this point in the pregnancy already! I feel like I just found out I was pregnant!

I'm super excited to meet this little guy and I know Michael is too! It will be so fun to hold a newborn again!

Ok ok! I have to put some pictures up of my favorite little girl who is still my baby!!! We have way to much fun together! I am so blessed that Michael works so hard to let me stay home with Olivia. He is amazing!!

She was not about to share MY 1/2 priced shake from sonic. Silly girl!
Uh! She is just the cutest!! I love her so much!!
